Week 7 Wrap Up

This weekend was an anomaly as I lost a Thursday night game!  Only the second time this year.  It never feels good to have to swallow a loss for a whole day until I can pick some games back up.

The noon games were extremely fun to watch, especially the Red River Rivalry; one of the craziest rivalry games I’ve seen in awhile with crazy bounces and big hits.  After the noon games I was 2-2 with Kansas and Texas covers and Clemson and Kentucky losses.

The 3:30 games gave me a chance to get above .500 before the evening slate.  Tennessee gave me a cover due to the fact that Georgia could not get in the endzone and Notre Dame covered against UNC, a game in which they should have won!  4-2 going into the night game; I was really hoping for a 7 win week!

Florida had their game covered very early, so I was going to go at least .500.  Wisconsin did not show up at all and I realized just how bad Washington State was as they got throttled!  I needed an Oklahoma State cover for my sixth winning weekend of seven.  Not only did the Cowboys cover, they won!  That put me at 6-4 for the weekend.

Overall I am now 41-27-2 (60.29%).  If I would not have gone 3-7 in week 4, I would have a 65% winning percentage, but I will accept that bad week and move on towards next week.
