Week 5 Picks with Commentary
Colorado @ WVU (-16.5) – WVU has an unreal run defense and this ISN’T the Big XII brother! Take the ‘eers
LSU @ UGa (-3) – A young quarterback on the road between the hedges. I’ll have to take Georgia even though they have killed me the last two weeks.
GT (-5.5) @ Miss St. – This is a first and probably an only. I have to go against PJ here as he is a road favorite in the SEC. Prove me wrong Tech but I’ll take the Bulldogs.
Oklahoma (-7.5) @ Miami – Two words, ACC/BIG XII, wait, how many words is that really? Either way, I’ll take the Big XII to rollllll
Michigan @ Michigan State (-2.5) – I have no idea with this one but I feel Rich Rod has started to figure things out. I’ll take the Victors to beat Sparty by more than a field goal.
Washington State @ Oregon ( -32.5) – I have to take the Cougs in this one as I think the Ducks blew their load last week.
Arkansas (-1) @ Texas A&M – Gig ‘em Aggies. I cannot see the wrecking crew losing this one at Kyle Field. Should be a fun night game to watch.
Auburn @ Tennessee (-2.5) – Crompton will throw three picks with one being returned for a touchdown. The college version of Jake Delhomme will assist Auburn in a victory.
USC (-4.5) @ Cal – Pete Carroll is going to absolutely demolish Cal this year. Cal was looking ahead last week and all they were looking ahead to was an asssssss kicking
NC State @ Wake Forest (-2) – We are finally road dogs at Wake. That being said, I still think Wake covers; please prove me wrong TOB and Russell.

Colorado @ WVU (-16.5) – Colorado covers this. WVU won’t get up that high unless they do it in the first quarter.
LSU @ UGa (-3) – Cox will fail on his big stage test. I’ll take LSU.
GT (-5.5) @ Miss St. – GT will be soft coming off of the win last week, but I’ll still take the Jackets.
Oklahoma (-7.5) @ Miami – Miami gets dominated by well more than 7.5. Their return to the top ten was simply a fluke. I still don’t see them finishing better than 6-6.
Michigan @ Michigan State (-2.5) – With all of those extra workouts, I’ll take the Blue.
Washington State @ Oregon ( -32.5) – spread is way too large yet again. I’ll give it up to the Cougs and that one guy that always has his flag flying on gameday.
Arkansas (-1) @ Texas A&M – 6th man brings them home. Go A&M!
Auburn @ Tennessee (-2.5) – Tennessee is getting frustrated, and it’ll either end or continue with this game. I say it ends, and UT rolls.
USC (-4.5) @ Cal – Cal is going to fall, and to top it off, their run game will be nothing to write mom about.
NC State @ Wake Forest (-2) – This spread has already changed four times within the week. I’ll do the unthinkable and pick the Pack, even though the stats are against me.
Colorado @ WVU (-16.5) – I haven’t watched any of the game yet so i’ll go with Colorado, they’ll probably lose, but thats a big number
LSU @ UGa (-3) – everytime i predict a loss for LSU, Les Miles makes me pay for it, I’m taking the Bayou Bengals in this one
GT (-5.5) @ Miss St. – I know i know, Miss St. is a home dog, but they’re gonna be hung over from last week, I’ll take Tech
Oklahoma (-7.5) @ Miami – OU by 50
Michigan @ Michigan State (-2.5) – Forcier or however you spell it is a good qb, i’m takin the wolverines
Washington State @ Oregon ( -32.5) – ummmm wsu’s only win was an overtime nailbiter over june jones’ boys, yeah I’m going with Oregon’s momentum from last week
Arkansas (-1) @ Texas A&M – I don’t know, I’ll go with A&M
Auburn @ Tennessee (-2.5) –tough call actually, gonna come down to the turnover battle, I’ll take Auburn in a close one
USC (-4.5) @ Cal – USC has something to prove, and thats the most dangerous position to have to face them in, gimme USC
NC State @ Wake Forest (-2) – I like state as the road dog, I think they win easily
Tell me what you're thinking...
