Obama Stimulus Check – You Will Get This through Lower Taxes
The Obama stimulus check we are all seeking will likely come through lower taxes. You will begin to see less money coming out of your paycheck through taxes. While this is not one lump sum, it is still extra money for American citizens. This is actually a better way to give us more money as we won’t spend one big check as soon as we get it. We all know someone that got their check last year and immediately spent it on something that was discretionary and not needed rather than using it in an intelligent way.
The stimulus package is expected to “stimulate” the economy, but it doesn’t seem like it will happen immediately. Most Americans who sense a financial problem in their life will likely pay off debt with their extra cash. This does not stimulate the economy immediately. Over the long term it will, but we will not see that for many years. When Americans start to get out of debt and grow their savings, then we will see a stimulation in the economy.
Overall, it is very good that we will see less taxes on our paychecks, but I hope Americans use their extra money for something they actually need or to get out of debt.
